EID IS A day of gratitude—of hearts swelling with thanks to Allah for granting us the strength to complete a month of fasting, to immerse ourselves in His Book, and to bow before Him in worship, seeking His endless mercy, reward, and forgiveness.
Allah says:
…so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful. (al-Baqarah 185)
Yet, my heart aches. Gratitude and joy wrestle with grief and anguish. I long for His grace, yet I tremble at the thought—how can we truly rejoice when our brothers and sisters in Gaza endure unspeakable horrors? This Ramadan has been the hardest to witness—the genocide, the suffering, the deafening silence of those who could act but choose not to. We have failed as an Ummah.
But hope is not lost. Change is coming. The tides are shifting. The Ummah is awakening, rising from oppression to strength. With Allah’s help, our hardships will not last forever.
From the Arab Spring to the fall of Hasina and Bashar al-Assad last year, we have seen that tyrants can be toppled. The Ummah is reclaiming its dignity, drawing ever closer to Islam, determined to restore its honour. We have witnessed betrayal—leaders who squander our wealth, forsake our causes, shake hands and break their fasts with our enemies, and turn their backs on Palestine. Yet, these bitter realities have only solidified our resolve: true justice and dignity will only return through an Islamic Khilafah.
The West senses this shift. It tightens its grip, unleashing wars, proxy conflicts, and propaganda to keep us divided. But history bears witness—whenever the Ummah unites in sincerity, it triumphs. The greatest threat is not the might of our enemies, but the treachery of those among us who serve them. To be victorious, we must remove these agents of oppression and stand under true Islamic leadership.
To the Muslims: Victory is near! Whenever sincerity and effort meet, Allah grants triumph. Do not be deceived by the illusions of Western power. Their strength is built on lies, their empires on sand. Do not be distracted by narratives meant to divide us. Do not settle for half-measures—Islam must be implemented in full, as the only complete way of life.
To those with power and influence: This is your moment. The Ummah yearns for liberation. Take inspiration from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ. Stand with courage, sacrifice with conviction, and remember—victory comes from Allah alone.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ
O believers! If you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm. (Muhammad 7)
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah… Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa Lillahil Hamd!
May Allah accept our deeds, strengthen our hearts, and hasten the victory of this Ummah.
Eid Mubarak.
